Over its decade of existence, the objective has been to present, promote and preserve the historical heritage of Valencia CF, sharing it with fans thanks to the extensive research, recovery, restoration, archiving, cataloguing and exhibition of articles, shirts, documents, photographs, illustrations, pictorial works, trophies and more. This occurs through the organisation of exhibitions and forums, involving the participation of the protagonists of the more than 102 years of the club's history, and their descendants.

This objective maintains the generational chain of a feeling of belonging to Valencia CF, taking care of the past, reinforcing the present and showing both to future generations.

The work by the department, run by Loles Ruiz, Carmen Casaní and Mª José Soriano, is essential to safeguarding the history of Valencia CF. Ten notable milestones have been chosen to best illustrate it:

1. KM. 0: The Origin of Valencia CF: The discovery of the location of Bar Torino, the scene for the club’s founding.

2. The Origin: The locating and presentation of the club’s first constitutional act, dated March 1st, 1919 and exhibited in the Mestalla VIP Box as part of the Mestalla Forever Tour.

3. Locating and presentation of the founding statutes of the club: Dated March 14th, 1919. On March 18th, four days later, the Civil Government formalised the club's constitution.
