150 games as a Valencia CF player for Gabriel Paulista
Gabriel Paulista completed his 150th official match with Valencia CF this past Sunday against Real Sociedad, and marked the occasion with an attacking contribution for both goals. He played a part in the incident that led to the team's second penalty of the game, and scored the equaliser himself later in the contest.
This season is Paulista's most high-scoring since he joined Valencia CF. In his opening campaign he would not find the net, whilst he did so once in 2019/20 against Atletico Madrid.

With the goal against Real Sociedad, he has already scored 3 times this season, adding to his strikes against Levante UD and Athletic Club. Curiously, all 4 goals that he has racked up with the team have been from headers emanating from set pieces.
Since his move to Mestalla for the 2017/18 season he has shown his quality on the pitch, as well as his courage, commitment and the leadership that has led him to become one of the team's captains.
