75 students from 23 countries on MBA Valencia CF Masters course

The class of the 11th edition of the Masters in International Sport Management were given a tour of Mestalla on Thursday

The 11th edition of the Masters in International Sport Management (MBA Valencia CF) course, taught by the VCF Foundation Centro de Formación and the ESBS European Sport Business School, is underway. The starting point for the course was a trip on the Mestalla Forever Tour for all of the students, following a speech to them by VCF Foundation patron José Luis Zaragosí. In his talk, Zaragosi thanked the students for the trust they have placed in the educational centre, and invited them to make the most of the Masters course.

This edition is special for two reasons: It is the largest to date, with 75 students from 23 nationalities; and this year, for the first time, it will be taught in English, with training in Spanish. In the 10 previous courses, 206 alumnis from 25 nationalities were accepted.

The course has been chosen as the best in Spain in 2017, 2018 and 2019, according to prestigious British publication Sport Business, and in 2018 was in the Top 3 in Europe (and Top 13 in the world).

The main objective of the MBA Valencia CF is to offer students the tools and knowledge required in sports management, preparing them to run organisations, facilities and events with practical experience, as well as being able to detect business opportunities and develop the management abilities necessary for them.

The students come from: Germany, Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, China, Spain, the Phillipines, France, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Russia, Thailand, Taiwan and Uruguay.

Some 15 additional students from Colombia, India, Mexico and Spain are taking the course in a semi-presencial or exclusively online format.
