The deadline for Valencia CF season ticket holders for the 2019/20 campaign to choose between the different compensation and return options, applicable for LaLiga matches played at Mestalla behind closed doors, has been reached.
A huge majority of 82% selected options that support the club in the current climate, made difficult due to the general decrease in income in the sector. Almost 6,000 season ticket holders, 15% of the total number, have waived both their entitled refund and a discount on the next available season ticket. Some 67% chose a 25% discount on their 2021/22 season ticket, and 18% of season ticket holders demanded the refund of the corresponding amount of games missed.
All season ticket holders from the past season, regardless of the option chosen, maintain their rights and privileges (seniority, season ticket holder number, reserved seat, loyalty discount for high attendance and discount for using the ‘Asiento Libre’ system) until the next season ticket renewal campaign (which may be for the 2021/22 season, depending on authorisation by health authorities), in addition to benefitting from discounts both on the purchase of tickets for the current 2020/21 season (when possible) and at Official Stores and in special promotions.
All season ticket holders who chose 'Option 1' or 'Option 2' have until September 30th to be claim an official VCF shirt, using the corresponding coupon at the VCF Megastore or the Mestalla Store.
