Alberto Marí: "Being able to stay at Valencia CF is a dream come true"
Alberto Marí has rounded off his preseason training camp in Slovakia and Switzerland on a high note after grabbing three goals in preseason and becoming the preseason's leading goalscorer which has earnt him his contract renewal until 2026. The Alicante-born striker showcased his satisfaction with the contract renewal on VCF Media.
Happy and content
I'm really happy to continue at Valencia CF and give my all for this club.
A dream come true
Being able to stay at this great club for three more years is a dream come true. I'm looking forward to carrying on working and contributing so that continue here for many more years to come.
Goals
It's important for us strikers to provide goals, but preseason is all about getting up to match fitness ahead of the start of LaLiga, which is ultimately the most important thing.
A message for the youngsters
My advice to other players coming up through the youth system is that they have to keep on working and stay motivated to take advantage of the opportunities they are given.
A message for the fanbase
I would ask the fans to carry on getting behind us, as they have always done because we need their support.
