Anil Murthy: "I hope that soon we can strengthen the team"
On Tuesday, Valencia CF president Anil Murthy gave a brief speech at the presentation of the 'Sempre Falles' project, which supports the city of Valencia with the symbolism of the famous 'Fallas' festival. In his address, he talked about the current sporting situation at the club.

Anil Murthy's speech:
"Good afternoon everybody. I think that there are more people in the stands today than there are for a football match. I don't know when this situation is going to change.
We will be back here on Saturday (against Huesca) and will be trying to win. It is evident that everybody is aware of the sporting side, signings and -unfortunately- the correct use of VAR. Valencia CF are also aware of this. I hope that soon, within the conditioning factors that we have such as Financial Fair Play limits, we can strengthen the team.
We are also showing that we are going to defend our rights. We support the team, our coach Javi Gracia -who is doing a great job- and our squad. Every day I see the character that this team have to overcome difficulties. We have to look ahead in order to improve; on Saturday we have another opportunity to win again.”
