Arias speaks out at refereeing in game against Athletic Club

Valencia CF ambassador Ricardo Arias spoke out about the refereeing decisions made in the club's game against Athletic Club, in which a controversial call saw a penalty not given.
“What is clear to me is that the refereeing criteria is not unified. Each referee does what they want and they are not afraid of sanctions. They whistle what they want and consult when they want. That can't be. What is clear is that the partiality is latent and Valencia CF have been blatantly deprived of being able to win a game and having the possibility of getting one foot in the final,” he stated.
