Brilliant debut for Valencia CF trio with Spain Under-21
The Malta v Spain U21s (0-6) played on Friday will remain forever in the memories of Diego López, Fran Pérez and Javi Guerra, and also in those of many Valencianista fans.
Valencia CF and the VCF Academy were the protagonists in a very comprehensive match by Santi Denia's side, which marked the debut of the three players from our club with "La Rojita".

Diego López's debut was probably the best of all. The Asturian striker was in the starting line-up and scored the first goal of the match with a great header from the heart of the area. A goal with a very special celebration, as Diego's debut with the Under-21s coincided with the festivity of the Day of Asturias.

Fran Pérez's debut came in the second half. The winger came on in the 56th minute and showed his outstanding quality with his goal involvements in two of the goals.
Javi Guerra, for his part, came on in the 73rd minute and had enough time to show his great physicality, as well as his composure when dictating play.
It is worth noting that Valencia CF is the team with the largest representation in the call-up for "La Rojita" and, moreover, it is with three players who have come up through youth the ranks at the VCF Academy.
The next game for Diego, Fran, Javi and the rest of the Spanish Under-21 squad is scheduled for Monday 11 September at 9 pm against Scotland, also a qualifier for the European Championship.
