‘Valencia CF visits your school’ kicks off a new season in Torrent
The Club will visit twelve schools with special attention to the centres affected by the flash floods
It could never be said that Jaume Domènech is a player who doesn't take his work home with him. The Valencia CF goalkeeper has converted sections of his new house into what amounts to a museum of sorts for his career and his boyhood club.

The living room of his abode features framed shirts with special personal significance to him. Taking pride of place is the jersey that he wore on his debut against Alianza de Lima (Peru) on July 26th 2014, the same day on which his grandfather passed away. He also has garments worn by friends and former teammates Simone Zaza and Santi Mina, plus trophies that he has won over the course of his career.
A special cabinet contains souvenirs from this year's Copa del Rey, including the shirt that he wore in the final against FC Barcelona, gloves, boots and the replica trophy given to each player on the winning side.
Other rooms feature a nod to the cup triumph as well. His home gym has a graffiti design of the banner shown at Mestalla in the semifinals, with the motto ‘Volem la Copa’. It is a memory of the day in which Valencia CF -with Jaume between the sticks- beat Real Betis to reach the final. Other slogans, such as ‘Guerrero Eterno’ and ‘Gat d’Almenara’, along with photos of him wearing the captains armband, provide a boost in motivation whenever he sees them at home.
