Baraja: "We want to dedicate the victory to the victims and those affected by the 'DANA'"
The coach previews the game against Real Betis
Albert Celades gave journalists the lowdown on Valencia CF's game against Eibar in a Wednesday video press conference, following his team's final training session.
The away trip to Ipurua
"There are a series of situations that maybe become even more important because of the context we have right now, at this point of the season. However, we're fine and we're confident. The group are doing well, and we aren't thinking too far ahead. We're focusing on tomorrow's game, on approaching it in the best way possible, with the knowledge that it's going to be a very difficult game. We have the best mentality for it, and we'll see if we are capable of winning."
A tight battle for the Champions League spots
"We are in a very close league. The entire year has been like this, and this has possibly been the tightest season of recent times. We are all finding it hard to win, and it was the same before the break. Since the competition restarted we've been seeing that every side is struggling to get wins. In terms of tomorrow: I don't think it's a final as such, but the number of games is getting ever fewer and the margin for error is getting smaller. There's no doubt about that. What I expect -and what we all expect- is that we will have a very difficult game. Playing away at Eibar is always tough anyway."
Guedes and Torres chances of a starting role
"Obviously it's an option that we are contemplating, having them play together. It would give us two fast wingers. The fact that they can play in attack is a plus, as we saw the other day with Ferran against Osasuna."
Eibar's motivation
"Eibar are a very tough team to play against. In addition, right now they need points and are close to the relegation zone, so that is an added difficulty. The pitch is also a factor."
Keeping clean sheets
"The fact that we took three points and didn't concede last time out allows us to face the next game with confidence. However, there is little time between games and we are focused."
Challenging for fourth place
"Our chances will depend on what we do, because there are a lot of games and points to play for. The pace and the climate for games makes it tough: The pace has not been as high as normal in LaLiga. It's important to go ahead in games."
The need to win on the road
"The reality is that it's been too long without an away win for us. We haven't performed well in many games away from home. I hope that we can change that dynamic, and not only draw -as we have done on other occasions. If we want to be in the highest positions then we need to improve and pick up the three points. We have that intention, and want to have a good game whilst being aware of the difficulties."
