“Hopefully one day I can play for Valencia CF”
The individual award winners of the VCF Academy World Cup reflect on the tournament and share their hopes for the future.
The 2019 Valencia CF Summer Campus season came to a close this past week with the conclusion of the second phase. In total, 420 boys and girls aged between 6 and 16 enjoyed an incredible experience at the VCF training ground in Paterna.
The participants were divided into two phases due to the high demand for places, and both groups learned through a method aimed at developing three areas: Sport and football, non-sporting and co-existence education, and personal growth through football. The methodology was based on the values of Valencia CF.
There were also plenty of fun activities, with swimming sessions, leisure areas, a visit to the Mestalla Forever Tour and more.
A highly multicultural VCF Campus this year saw children from the following countries participate: Spain, Israel, the USA, Russia, Italy, France, Germany, Ukraine, China, Canada, Armenia, Hungary, Belarus, Lithuania, India, Guatemala, Belgium and Austria.
