Enzo Barrenechea, called up by Argentina National Team
Valencia CF player called up to play the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Peru.
Over the Christmas holidays, Valencia CF will be celebrating a series of charitable actions to help those in need.
On Wednesday, December 23rd, the NIT NADALENCA event in conjunction with the Banco de Alimentos food bank is scheduled. There will be a special distribution of food at Mestalla from 6pm to 9pm, continuing the scheme that has been running at the stadium since May. In addition to the essential foodstuffs to help around 300 families, traditional Christmas products will also be included in the latest event.
The Federación de Caza de la Comunidad Valencia will donate 300 rations of stews that they themselves will prepare and distribute.
A Christmas atmosphere will be provided by volunteers from the Banco de Alimentos and the Obra Social La Caixa, dressed as Santa Claus, and the Valencia CF mascot will also be in attendance.
Coinciding with the NIT NADALENCA event, a food collection point will be set up by LaLiga, which also collaborates with the Banco de Alimentos. Fans will thus be able to donate kilos of food to those most in need. The VCF Academy 8-a-side teams will make a special donation at this collection point.
On Christmas Eve, from 11am to 1:30pm, the Banco de Alimentos will be at Mestalla again, distributing 3,000 prepared menus donated by World Central Kitchen, the foundation set up by chef José Andrés. The menus will be delivered to 22 different charities and associations in the city of Valencia.
Valencia CF are pioneers as the first club in Spain to make their stadium available to the Banco de Alimentos and World Central Kitchen this past summer, starting a trend that has spread around LaLiga.
