Valencia CF history united with the present in a special meeting that took place at the Ciudad Deportiva on Thursday, bringing together club ambassadors Ricardo Arias, Miguel Tendillo and Miguel Ángel Bossio and first team captains José Luis Gayà, Jaume Domènech, Carlos Soler and Gabriel Paulista.
Combined, the participants have played more than 1,500 matches for the club, and they talked about what it means to represent Valencia CF. The ambassadors recounted their many intense experiences from their playing days, and underlined the obligation to focus on the present and on the strong team of 2020/21.
Valencia CF president Anil Murthy was also in attendance, congratulating the captains for their enormous effort this past Sunday against Getafe. He let them know that this was the way to continue in the upcoming matches, starting with this Sunday's LaLiga encounter at Mestalla against Real Madrid.
