Valencia CF player called up to play the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Peru.
Valencia CF will open their 2020/21 Copa del Rey campaign against Terrassa FC SAD, in a game that will take place on December 16th. Kickoff times for the first round of the competition will be set at a later date.
The draw for the Copa del Rey took place at the La Cartuja stadium in Seville on Monday, and pitted Valencia CF in an away game against the Tercera División side at the Estadi Olímpic de Terrassa.
Terrassa FC SAD were founded in 1906. Valencia CF have previously played three friendly games against them: Two in 1921, and another in 1934.
Miguel Ezequiel, Terrassa's sporting director, spoke to VCF MEDIA after the draw:
“We are very happy. We were hoping to be drawn against a Primera División side, and we are very pleased that it is Valencia CF. We are excited and will try to make things difficult for them, and have a great game. Valencia CF are one of the eight teams that have won the Copa del Rey, and a team that traditionally competes in Europe. We are proud to play against them, we are going to treat them as they deserve and try to make it as difficult as possible for them on the pitch."
