Mestalla brimming with emotions running high
Relive the emotional events that took place in the run-up to Valencia CF-Real Betis to pay tribute to the victims and those affected by the tragic flash floods
The Valencia CF continued with their preparations for their Sunday encounter at Son Moix, training on Thursday morning at the Ciudad Deportiva.
Albert Celades' men ran through fitness and tactical work, as well as congratulating one of their own for a recent addition to his family: Mouctar Diakhaby, who had been given permission from the club to miss Wednesday's session to attend the birth of his first child, Ibrahim, was back in the fold along with his teammates.
The squad will train twice more, on Friday and Saturday, before their trip to the Balearic islands to play RCD Mallorca. The game marks the start of the second half of the LaLiga season.
