Baraja: "We want to dedicate the victory to the victims and those affected by the 'DANA'"
The coach previews the game against Real Betis
Jaume Domènech spoke to VCF Media after the draw for the second round of the Copa del Rey, which pits Valencia CF against CD Arenteiro. He also commented on this weekend's fixture against Celta Vigo.
The Copa del Rey
The Copa del Rey is a very special competition for us. We will strive to go as far as possible in it. We have recent memories of what it was like to win it, and for us it is a very beautiful competition. We are going to fight to the end in it.
Facing CD Arenteiro
We respect all of our opponents to the fullest, as we did yesterday in Utrillas. We know that we are up against a team from a lower division than ours, but they have their own strengths and are aware that it is a very important game, so they are sure to make it difficult. We will prepare for that match with maximum focus, as it deserves.
Valencia CF will go there to face the game with the maximum concentration that a knockout tie requires, and we will prepare to go through when the time comes.
Returning to action
I feel very good. I was very happy to participate again, to help my teammates. I will continue working hard to get opportunities and be able to enjoy myself on the pitch. Right now we are putting the Copa del Rey to one side, and all our efforts are focused one hundred percent on the match in Vigo on Sunday. It is an important game for us, and we want to pick up a run of wins and move up the table -which is our aim. From today we have already been training fully focused on that game.
