Duro: "Working like this, it's hard to lose"
Hugo Duro`s first goal for Valencia CF put the team in front against Real Madrid, and although the team would go on to lose 1-2, the striker was proud of the performance at Mestalla.
A great effort
The team put in a great effort. Real Madrid practically didn't have any chances, which we all know is very hard to make happen. They came back in a five minute spell, and we know what Real Madrid are like, but we'll be working hard to take the win in Wednesday's game against Sevilla.
A disappointing result
You can say that it was a great game, but in the end it was a defeat. We know that we are doing things well, but the important thing is to win, which in the end we didn't do. From tomorrow we'll be preparing for the next game, and working hard.
His first goal
I'm very happy. I didn't know whether to celebrate or not, because I've played for Real Madrid, but it was a special moment with the euphoria and the help of the fans.
Personal sacrifice
I did everything possible to be fit to play. I worked separately from the team, and yesterday morning I thought I was not going to be able to play. In the end, I felt good. The physios have done an exceptional job.
The Mestalla factor
I had played here on the visiting side, but playing for the home team it is crazy -even when it's not full. It should be amazing when there are more fans here.
