The Valencia CF coach talks after the 2-2 result against Deportivo Alavés
The Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases (FEDER) has joined the campaign 'ADN Mestalla Solidari' by which Valencia CF and Fundació VCF give visibility to Valencian NGOs and charities in recognition of their important work.
In the Sala Juan Sol del Camp at Mestalla, the president of Valencia CF, Anil Murthy and the General Director of Fundació VCF, Teo Swee Wei received the president of FEDER, Juan Carrión and the vice-president Fidela Mirón together with Joan Laporta and Rafael Yuste, president and vice-president of FC Barcelona.
Valencia CF and Fundació VCF wanted to pay tribute to the great work carried out by FEDER being the loudspeaker of the more than three million people living with one of these pathologies in Spain ahead of the World Day for Rare Diseases, to be held next Monday, February 28th.
Last June Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation sealed a pioneering alliance with FEDER, becoming the first Club in Spain to have a collaboration agreement with this entity. Through this alliance, Valencia CF committed to join the work of the Foundation to give visibility and support research into rare diseases as well as helping to improve the quality of life of some of its members.
