Fernández: "Efficiency in the areas decided the game"
After the 3-0 defeat to UD Ibiza on Sunday afternoon, VCF Mestalla coach óscar Fernández reflected on the game in his post-match press conference.
A harsh result
"We saw that the team wanted to win and created chances. Losing 3-0 is a tough blow, but it is what it is. Beyond all that, we must focus on how we felt, because we can't take anything else away from the game: We got close and we had many chances on goal, hit the woodwork twice and created clear chances, but it wasn't to be and we have to keep growing and learning from these mistakes that are hindering us a lot."

Efficiency key to the result
"When we were having our best spell, they got the penalty. We bounced back and had shots from Koba, Esquerdo and Carlos González, and were dominating. Then a long kick from their goalkeeper upfield led to them scoring. The team played 25 very good minutes, but we were not efficient in the areas. In our area we were hinderdd, and in the opposition area we weren't finishing well. In the end it's a bitter blow. Efficiency is what is hurting us, and even more so in a division in which that is very important."
