First training sessions for VCF Mestalla under Óscar Fernández
VCF Mestalla took on their first training session under new coach Óscar Fernández on Tuesday morning, as the team returned to action at the Ciudad Deportiva. The new man in the dugout had previously met up with the players last week, and got to work with them on the pitch in their first preseason session.
The coaching staff set out a double session for the first day back from the summer break, which involved strength work in the gym in the morning and drills on the pitch in the afternoon.
Fernández also had available players who had received permission from the club to return later than their teammates, due to their having trained with the first team during the final stage of last season.
