Garay: "There are still some very beautiful things to play for"
Despite the disappointment of their elimination from the UEFA Europa League at the semifinal stage, the Valencia CF players are determined to maintain their focus on their important upcoming games.
Before Sunday's LaLiga encounter with Deportivo Alavés (6:30pm CEST) and a return to training on Friday, Ezequiel Garay sent out a message that there is no quit in the team.
"We will fight to the end, because there are some very beautiful things still to play for. We gave our all from the start, but we missed out on that final that we wanted so much," said the Argentine.
"The only thing to do now is pick ourselves back up and keep going. We have another final coming up this Sunday. I'm proud of this team, and I think the people who always believed in us -who were fully behind us in the good and the bad times."
