VCF Cadete A player Yarek Gasiarowski has recently renewed his contract with the VCF Academy, and has made an adaption from left back to centre back in recent years.
The 16 year old, with Polish roots, is already a towering 1.90 metres tall, and his growth has not only been physical: He has been called up to play for VCF Juvenil B on several occasions this term
“I’m very happy to have extended my deal with the club, and to be able to continue with the VCF Academy. I’ve spent ten years improving and I feel better all the time,” he said this week.
“As a child I played for a team in the town, Polinyà del Xúquer. One day, after school, my mother told me that I had to do a tryout here, and I’ve been here ever since.”
“I’ve been in many tournaments, and above all I remember the LaLiga Promises competition, as well as the Alevín A campaign in my second year here.”
On his progress, Gasiarowski commented that “I spent two or three months with Juvenil B and I was able to learn a lot because they are very good players. Now with VCF Cadete A we want to continue fighting and working to get the league title.”
“The Cadete A team require some things, an VCF Juvenil B demand a little more. At the end of the day, it's about playing, giving 100% and being yourself.”
