Gayà is already among the hundred players with the most official matches in history

He had a great start of the season, is part of the Spanish team and has equaled Bossio and Anibal in this ranking

José Luis Gayá is completing a great start to the season at Valencia CF, which has also led him to be called up by Luis Enrique for the Spanish national team. In addition, after participating in the draw against FC Barcelona, the local player has placed himself ​​among the hundred players with more official matches (155) in the history of the club, equaled with the Uruguayan midfielder Miguel Ángel Bossio and the Paraguayan defender Aníbal Pérez.

 

In his fifth season at Valencia CF, Gayá has played seven of the eight LaLiga games (he only missed Anoeta against Real Sociedad) and two Champions League group stage games, in Mestalla against Juventus and at Old Trafford against Manchester United. On the other hand, he played September 11th with Spain on the ninety minutes of the victory against Croatia 6-0 at the Martínez Valero stadium, corresponding to the second day of the group stage of the League A of the UEFA Nations League.
