Great-grandson of Valencia CF founder returns to Mestalla

Octavio Augusto Milego is a name that will always be associated with Valencia CF. He was the founder and former president of the club, and his passion for it has remained in the family DNA, passed down from generation to generation.
His great-grandson, Luis Barrenechea, recently visited Valencia and took the opportunity to go to on the Mestalla Forever Tour, including the new Sala Juan Sol room where all former presidents are remembered.
"Valencia CF is part of my family and part of our history. We were here in the most incredible years for the club and it has been very important for us, especially because we have been lucky enough to go to training sessions, and get close to the coaches and board members," he told VCF Media.
"Stepping onto the pitch at Mestalla is incredible. We went to the chapel and to the dressing room, and it was a very beautiful experience. Let's hope that next season we can return to Mestalla to watch games," he said.
