Guedes makes preseason debut

The Portuguese scores in his first friendly outing of the summer

Gonçalo Guedes had his first runout of preseason in the win against Atromitos FC, which included a great left footed strike that ended in a goal.

The Portuguese international had joined up with the group this week, after having participated for his country in Euro 2020.

Despite the few training sessions he had undertaken, Guedes played 45 minutes of the second half. He would finish off an assist from Denis Cheryshev for his first goal of preseason.

In addition, Guedes also showed his ability to launch counterattacks with several long passes to his teammates, setting up Fran Pérez for an opportunity.
