Guillamón: "We need to take a step forward to get through this"
Hugo Guillamón played a full 90 minutes in the game against Real Madrid, and he looked back on the game with VCF Media.
Analysing the game
It's always very tough to come here, but we had desire and wanted to have a great game. We put in a big effort in the first half and we saw that this is the kind of showing we should give; maybe we should be a little more precise, but effort is non-negotiable. In the second half, conceding two goals so quickly affected the game. It stacked things against us and made it very tough.
A tough few weeks
These few weeks have been difficult. We are on a long run of games without a win, but the team are convinced and have desire, which is the important thing. We have a game coming up on Sunday that we have to win at all costs.
Playing a full 90 minutes
It had been a while since I last played 90 minutes. I think it's good for me to keep picking up minutes and get on the pace. Both I and my teammates need to take a step forward to get through this.
Convinced of potential
There are many games remaining. We have to start changing things from the last few weeks now. I think that the important thing is that the team are convinced that we can get out of this.
The weekend game against Girona
It's a game in which three points would be vital, and we are going to go there to perform at our best and take the win.
