The Valencia CF coach previews his first fixture in charge
Valencia CF continued with the distribution of 150 special hospital gowns, made in collaboration with PUMA, to various medical facilities with a visit to the Hospital Doctor Peset. Helping with the handover on Thursday were the VCF Footballers Association, as club ambassador Miguel Ángel Bossio was accompanied by legends such as Vicente Guillot, José Manuel Sempere and Emilio Fenoll.
Bossio said of the initiative, which runs through March: "Together with the VCF Footballers Association, Valencia CF are once again undertaking an act of solidarity and helping children who are receiving treatment. It is an initiative that brings affection and love through small details."
Sempere added "We at the VCF Footballers Association are very happy to have been called upon for this type of event."
Francisco Dolz, manager at Hospital Doctor Peset, was very grateful for the Valencia CF initiative.
"I want to thank everybody for the beautiful idea that you have had, which is fundamentally one of hope for our children. This will make them feel better despite being ill. I want to thank Valencia CF and the VCF Footballers Association for an initiative that I hope never ends. Our children are going to be very happy."
On behalf of Valencia CF, the VCF Academy, VCF Femenino, VCF Footballers Association and VCF Foundation, will visit: Hospital Universitario y Politécnico de La Fe, Hospital Clínico Universitario de Valencia, Hospital Universitario Doctor Peset and IMED Valencia.
