The Valencia CF defender is closer to his comeback
The hospital gown initiative by Valencia CF and PUMA came to the Hospital Universitario Politécnico de La Fe this week, in the latest visit by the club to hand over the garments that make a stay in hospital a little happier for children with illnesses.
Valencia CF president Anil Murthy, alongside club ambassadors Ricardo Arias, Miguel Ángel Bossio and Miguel Tendillo, went to the hospital on Monday.
Mr. Murthy said that ‘’The entire Valencia CF family are here: The club, the VCF Foundation, the VCF Footballers Association, the VCF Academy and VCF Femenino. We are all here together to reinforce our commitment to Valencian society through the Hospital La Fe and other hospitals. Football is for the brave.”
Valencia CF end the month of March having donated a total of 150 specially adapted hospital gowns, converted from official shirts provided by PUMA. Four hospitals have been the recipients as parto f the #JuntsAnemAmunt campaign.
Eva Salvo, the manager of the Hospital La Fe, said that “the initiative is beautiful. Valencia CF always have ideas like this and the children are very grateful.” Head of Pediatric Medicine, Dr. Emilio Monteagudo, added that “we thank the club and our veteran players, who have come here to give us a gift that I think the children will be very excited about.”
