Get to know Carlos Corberán better
Review his career here: his training in Spain and his journey through Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, Greece and England.
After making his unofficial debut for Valencia CF against Levante UD, Hugo González spoke to VCF Media about what the achievement meant to him.
"I'm very excited and happy, after all of this work I've done for so many years. I was looking at the opposition players, and the teammates who I've come up with, and it was very emotional," commented the teenager.
My teammates on the bench didn't say much before I came on, besides "Keep calm Hugo, play like you know how." They told me to enjoy myself, because this only happens once," he explainsed.
"I'm a little younger and I know the youth categories a little better. I know the level of talent there. The commitment that is being made to them is bringing through more and more people. It's very good."
