The PUMA Welcome Academy on November 3rd provided some fun and exciting moments, as well as messages from players who have already reached the elite to which the VCF Academy talents aspire.
Two PUMA ambassadors at the club -Jaume Domènech and Marta Carro- wanted to share their experiences with the boys and girls who form the club's youth system, and gave them advice on how to learn, grow as people and continue enjoying football at the same time.
"On behalf of myself and PUMA, I want to welcome you to a new season for the VCF Academy," said the first team goalkeeper.
"I want to encourage you to enjoy every game and every training session. All of them are going to be unique moments, in which the excitement of football will be present."
"Football is a team game, in which you shine when the team work together," explained Jaume, who has always provided encouragement for young players coming through the ranks.
"When you believe in something, you can achieve anything."
"It's an adventure for which you have to dedicate desire and energy. It's going to be demanding, but the reward will be great," added VCF Femenino star Carro
"You are going to find out first hand the skills and working methods used by the club. At the same time, you will learn about the values that have made the club great."
The welcome message was one of several interactions between established players and the players of the future.
