Linda Bakker, versatility and experience for VCF Femenino

Valencia CF Femenino and Linda Bakker have reached an agreement that sees the Dutch player make a move from Ajax to join VCF Femenino until the 30th of June 2023.
The 28-year-old player was born in Rustemburg (The Netherlands) on the 13th of February 1993, she boasts extensive footballing experience in her country.
Linda Bakker is an absolute defensive wall that stands out for her link-up play, dangerous crosses and her adeptness at breaking into the opposition box with ease. Her arrival at VCF Femenino is going to bring versatility, resoluteness and experience into the dressing room. The Dutch player can operate in different positions: right-back, right-wing and attacking midfielder.
The player made her professional debut for AZ Alkmaar back in 2010 club where she spent a season, later on she joined the AFC Ajax ranks she spent two years from 2012 to 2014 with 49 appearances where she netted five goals and was crowned KNVB Beker Champion 2013-14 winner in the summer of 2014, she joined SC Telstar, where she racked up 70 appearances across three campaigns and netted 24 goals.
The player rejoined AFC Ajax for a second stint in the 2017-18 season where she defended the badge for four further campaigns, and she featured in 67 games scoring 10 goals in the process. She added two further KNVB Beker Champion titles in 2018 and 2019 and one National Champion to her trophy cabinet.
Thus, she has racked up a total of 116 appearances, 15 goals and four titles to her name in the AFC Ajax shirt she also played in the UEFA Champions League last season.
