Marcelino: "The absolute priority is tomorrow's game"
Three consecutive defeats
"I think that the team are in good shape. We know that we're in a situation in which we are fighting for very, very important goals. The players provide all of their effort and commitment. I think that some small details haven't favoured us in recent games, and those are what tip the balance from one way to another.
"We know that there is only a little way to go. We have 4 official games and then a final, as well as a possible other final. We know that tomorrow's game is very important. The team have attitude, enthusiasm and desire, and I'm sure that they will do everything tomorrow to take the win."
Increased importance after losing to Arsenal
"We've been able to distinguish between competitions very well up to now. The absolute priority is tomorrow's game. Winning means getting 3 very important points, and that would mean things would be in our hands compared to Sevilla with two games to go. It's a very important game. The two roads available to take us to the Champions League are very tough, but the important thing is that we have a chance in both cases."
Sevilla's loss to Leganés
"I was surprised about Sevilla's defeat. They are so strong at home, and were up against a team who had almost met their objectives, although they are a tough side who do things well and always have tight games. It goes to show how difficult it is to win in LaLiga, and the great equality amongst all of the teams."
Coquelin's return and 4-4-2
"We've been here for two seasons and we have practically always used 4-4-2. When we've not done that it has been because of the analysis of the situation we were in, what the game meant and who we were playing against."
Conserving energy
"Handling our energy is always neccesary, because there are fewer and fewer games remaining, and it's important when we have played one more than the opposition -especially so when there are only 3 days between matches."
"We have to evaluate every situation to try to field the most competitive side to win this game. We are also playing late at night tomorrow. I think that the team will be able to recover well."
