Marcos André: "We had to take the game with the utmost seriousness"

Marcos André was the star of Valencia CF's victory against CD Atlético Baleares, scoring the goal that took the side through to the Copa del Rey quarter finals. After the game, the Brazilian striker spoke to the media about the fixture.
"I'm happy. I had the opportunity to score early on. We knew that it was going to be a difficult game here, as other teams have come here and been knocked out. We had to take the game with the utmost seriousness, and that's what we did. I'm happy with the game," he explained.
The goal came just one minute into the contest, and was an unprecendented one for the summer signing.
"It was my first like that," he said. "I have never scored a goal so early."
