Valencia CF will visit newly promoted Elche CF on Friday night football at 9 pm kick-off time(CET) at the Martínez Valero stadium in the opening fixture of matchday 7 of LaLiga Santander.  

Elche CF are back in the Spanish top flight five years later after having won promotion via the play-offs after knoking out Girona. Javi Gracia’s side will try to bring their recent bad run to an end with a much needed victory against their regional neighbours.

Valencia CF have a negative balance away at Elche CF with a total of 14 wins, 6 draws and 17 losses from 37 meetings at the Martínez Valero. Last time out Valencia CF came away with a convincing 0-4 win from the Martínez Valero back in 2015.
