The joy was short-lived as Perea restored VfB Stuttgart's two-goal cushion just under the hour mark. Valencia made a raft of changes with 20 min of regulation time plus stoppage time left to go.
Valencia CF saw a start-stop passage of play due to substitutions and fouls in the closing stages of the second half.
VfB Stuttgart completed the scoreline on the stroke of full-time through Churlinov. The game ended in a 5-2 loss.
Valencia CF will visit Premier League's newly promoted side, Nottingham Forest, on Saturday the 29th of July at 6 pm at City Ground looking to bounce back from their first loss of the preseason.
