Valencia CF kicked off their preseason with a true litmus test against the Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund on Monday Evening Football at the Cash Point Arena in Austria at 7 pm kick-off time (CET).

The opposition were awarded a spot-kick against Thierry Correia for a foul on Bynoe-Gittens inside the box and Marco Reus scored the resulting spot-kick to get back on level terms.
Valencia CF got themselves back in front through Marcos under the hour mark with an intricate link-up play between Guedes who threaded the ball into Soler who selflessly flicked into Marcos André who slotted it home past the keeper.
Gonçalo Guedes doubled Valencia CF’s lead with his signature move to set himself up and lash the ball home to make it three for Valencia CF with an absolute belter over the hour mark.
Valencia CF took charge of proceedings and after the goal to see the game out in a high octane litmus test in the preseason opener against Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund with a brilliant showing to get their preseason off and running.
Valencia CF will take on Swiss outfit FC Saint Gallen on Wednesday 20th of July at 7 pm kick-off time at the Stadium Buechenwald – Gossau, Switzerland for the second test of their preseason camp.
