Match Report: VCF Femenino edge out SD Eibar as away winning run continues (0-1)
The opening quarter of an hour saw a high tempo at both ends with VCF Femenino dominating possession. Asun hit the side-netting on 12 minutes and then, Ana Marcos forced a save out of Malena. The third player to try her luck was Aguado who could not quite get on the end of a cross on 25 minutes.
The home side managed to shake off VCF Femenino’s dominance and tried to push forward. Albeit in the next move Bea Beltrán forced Malena into a double save from a free-kick on 38 minutes an three minutes later, Ana Marcos broke the deadlock on 41 minutes after getting on the end of a great Kerlly Real cross.
