Iranzo: ''We'LL be eternally grateful to the teammates and the people of the town"
The player from Picanya talks on VCF Media Radio about his experience after the flash floodings that devastated the southern region of Valencia.
Yunus Musah talked to VCF MEDIA on the pitch after the 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest FC, Valencia CF's fourth game of the 2022/23 preseason. The midfielder highlighted the evolution of the team ahead of the start of the LaLiga campaign.
Steps forward
It's hard to make an assessment right after the game, but my feeling is that we deserved to win it. I think we have taken steps forward as a team, we are doing better, but we still have more to take to get to where we want.
Adaptation
We are trying to do what the coach wants and we are improving in this aspect. I think we could have scored more goals and avoided some incidents in defence.
Soler's goal
I love having the ball at my feet and being able to run upfield. When they told me that I was on my own, I started running, I looked where to pass it, I played it to Gonçalo, he made a great cross and Carlos scored a great goal.
Central midfield
I have teammates who have a lot of quality and make it easier for me.
Making progress
Today we had the mentality to progress as a team. There is very little time left before the start of the LaLiga season and we have to keep progressing. We have to reach the beginning of the season in very good shape.
