Valencia CF have reached an agreement for the extension of Koba Leïn's contract with the club, through to June 2025.
Born in the Republic of Djibouti on October 27th, 2001, Leïn holds French nationality. He participated in six official games for the Valencia CF first team in 2020/21, debuting against Granada CF in LaLiga on Matchday 16, and scored his first official goal for the club in the Copa del Rey against Alcorcón.
Koba Leïn came to the VCF Academy in 2019 from RC Lens, quickly establishing himself as a regular for VCF Mestalla in Segunda B. An international for France at Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 level, he has also received a callup for the Under-20s squad, although due to the COVID-19 pandemic he has not yet made his debut at that level.
