Valencia CF will return to training with a session at Mestalla on Wednesday, December 27th, at 5:30pm, in preparation for the regional derby against Villarreal that sees in the new year.
The session, with free attendance for fans and accredited media, sees the Tribuna stand -and Anfiteatro if demand requires- opened from 4:30pm.
Valencia CF have won 4 of their 8 LaLiga games played at Mestalla this term, and have kept a clean sheet there on five occasions. Attendance has averaged 43,858 so far this campaign, putting the stadium amongst the Top 50 for fan influx, according to Transfermarkt.
Although the Grada de Animación stand was closed for the first two games, attendance has never dropped below 41,540 (from Matchday 2 against Las Palmas). The highest attendance so far was for the recent Matchday 17 game against FC Barcelona, with 46,571 supporters turning out to watch the game. An open training session to thank the huge support received during the year.
