Pablo Serna - TM Real Estate Group - "We are a very passionate family and sport is passion"
The CEO of TM Real Estate Group, Pablo Serna, talked to VCF Media about the company becoming Valencia CF's Main Global Partner and Real Estate Partner from the start of next season.
Much more than a real estate company
We are a family holding with more than 50 years' experience, with the company created in Orihuela and now established in the city of Torrevieja. We are dedicated to the real estate development sector. We have clients and owners of 35 different nationalities.
Along with real estate development, we are also dedicated to the hotel industry with three establishments in Playa del Carmen (Riviera Maya, Mexico). Likewise, we have important agricultural activity in the world of citrus fruits, working very closely with Valencian products. We also have real estate brokerage and vacation rental businesses.
A passion for sport
We are a very passionate family and sport is passion. We have historically united this passion with competition. We have been the main sponsors of Elche CF for 7 years, we spent 3 years at Hércules CF several seasons ago and we currently sponsor teams from regional divisions such as Torrevieja CF and Orihuela CF, who have been promoted this year. But we also support other sports such as tennis, with Charo Esquiva, who has reached the round of 16 at Roland Garros in the junior category.
We have a great vocation for supporting sport, youth, the values that sport entails and, fundamentally, our region.
Valencia CF history
We are a family that, despite being from the south of Alicante, are Valencianistas. When I have meetings with people from Valencia, I usually make a small bet with the person in front of me and ask them if they have been to the European finals in Paris, Milan and Gothenburg like our family. We would take the car and three of the five brothers would go on these trips to see Valencia CF. Of course, we have also been to Copa del Rey finals that we have won, and the one we recently lost against Real Betis. In this sponsorship agreement, our passion for the club had a role.
The response to the agreement
We are really excited about the response on social media and from our interest groups, customers, employees, suppliers... It is a tremendous exponential leap for our brand and for all the groups that are related to us. We have had recent experiences with Elche CF. Our group of clients, which is close to 25,000 European clients, are football fans and have a tremendous interest and passion for the game. They are going to respond extraordinarily well to this sponsorship agreement, although the journeys from our residences in Alicante or Almería are long.
We have no doubt that the invitations and actions that we undertake with Valencia CF will have a response that will exceed supply. We have absolute certainty due to our recent experience with Elche CF. With that team last in the table, there was a tremendous push to go see their games, buy their shirts, participate in prize draws, etc. And with Valencia CF I'm sure it's going to be a lot more.
VCF Femenino and the VCF Academy
We have a very high commitment to cooperative responsibility and to society, Youth and women's cannot be left out of any type of agreement like the one we are going to celebrate.
It was an express request that the women's team be in the agreement and also the VCF Academy. Although we specialise in residential tourism and second homes, our company does not rule out having promotions and business activity in the city of Valencia itself or in the province.
Constant growth
We have come out stronger after the pandemic. In 2022 we had record sales and in 2023, although a slowdown was predicted in the sector, we are having a very satisfactory start to the year.
We are in line with our objectives, with 95% of our billing already insured. We believe that we are going to have a new income record. And we hope that the agreement with Valencia CF will give us a boost in visibility and reputation so that in the coming years, in which we will have a new 2024-2027 strategic plan, it will give us a boost and a clear push to consolidate our image in the rest of the Valencian region, since we already have it established in Alicante, and throughout the national and international scene.
