Valencia CF reinforces its commitment to inclusion and social awareness of autism
Children with autism took to the pitch accompanied by adults and their assistance dogs
Valencia CF are always keen to help charitable organisations in their local region and beyond. Recently, they sent hundreds of packs provided in collaboration with official kit supplier PUMA to Casa Ronald McDonald Valencia, where families of children with illnesses are supported and housed during hospital stays.
Casa Ronald McDonald Valencia have launched their own initiative, with bracelets in the colours of the house’s balconies being sold to raise funds for a worthy cause. People from Valencia CF were quick to get theirs: Jaume, Arias, Gabriel Paulista and Miguel Ángel Bossio are all proudly wearing them.
Ana Belén Díaz, Head of Casa Ronald McDonald Valencia, told VCF MEDIA: The house has continued to be operational during this period, but we haven’t been able to use our habitual means of raising funds, such as the organising of charity events.” For this reason, the bracelet initiative was devised. All donations will go towards the running of the home.
