The coach previews the game against Real Betis
Uros Racic was brought into the starting lineup against Real Madrid, and put in an impressive performance in the 4-1 triumph. The Serbian was solid presence in the midfield, and believes that the victory was a great display of what Valencia CF can do.
"We won a game against a great side. We are a young team, but we can play at a high level. We needed a win like this one," he told VCF Media after the match.
"We played well and we deserved the victory. We prepared very well for this game. We've worked very hard and very well. We are all working on everything that the coach needs. We are going to continue and I think that we can win our next games."
Racic would have to grit his teeth in the final moments of the contest, suffering from some discomfort that he was not going to let affect his game.
"I've had some problems with my knee over the last few days, but I played well. I've had a little bit of pain, but I didn't want to stop. If my legs don't work later, then I don't care!"
"We're a very young team, but we want to show what we are capable of doing. We have to work, work work."
