Former Valencia CF player Ricardo Costa recently returned to the city and took the Mestalla Forever Tour with his family, showing them the stadium where he played for four years. The Portuguese, who retired this summer at the age of 39, remains in football as a member of the backroom staff at Boavista in his homeland.
"The memories of when I played here are great. I remember what the stadium, the dressing room and the photos of the players were like," he told VCF Media as he revisited the stadium.
"I like to look at them and remember. It is very important to me to come here with my family and go back into the dressing room, where everything starts and where everything finishes. I enjoyed myself a lot; I enjoyed wearing the shirt, and I enjoyed wearing the captain's armband."
