Second away clean sheet of 2020/21

Valencia CF kept a clean sheet in their game against SD Eibar, in a positive breakthrough for the defence. In recent weeks coach Javi Gracia and the squad have emphasised the importance of not conceding early and maintaining solidity throughout their games, and they withstood a late charge from Eibar with saves, tackles and organisation.
Jaume Domènech is the LaLiga goalkeeper with the most saves made thus far in the 2020/21 season, and he kept out shots by Expósito, Bryan Gil and Sergi Enrich.
The 0-0 draw was the second time that Valencia CF have shut out the opposition away from home this term. Their previous clean sheet on the road came in the 0-1 win at Anoeta against Real Sociedad at the end of September.
