‘Valencia CF visits your school’ kicks off a new season in Torrent
The Club will visit twelve schools with special attention to the centres affected by the flash floods
Valencia CF midfielder, Selim Amallah, analysed the loss against Deportivo Alavés on Matchday 4 of the season, in which he made his debut for the club.
The match
We knew that coming here was going to be difficult and that they were going to want to win their way. In the duels, they were stronger than us. Unfortunately, we conceded an early goal and it made the game difficult. The two weeks off we have now are good for us because there are new players who have to adapt to the group and we are going to come back stronger.
In the second half, we looked for an equaliser. We had a chance that we couldn't take advantage of, but we kept trying. Deportivo Alavés defended well. There are new players who have to get used to the movements of the team, and we will come back stronger for the next game.
Debuting with Valencia CF
It is a pleasure to play in LaLiga with Valencia CF. I'm sad about today's result, but we have to keep working.
