Sobrino and Febas set to be reunited on Sunday

Just a few short years ago, Rubén Sobrino and Aleix Febas shared experiences together at Real Madrid's academy residence. On Sunday they will be reunited at Son Moix, when Valencia CF and RCD Mallorca meet in LaLiga.
Sobrino arrived at the residence in 2008 from Daimiel Escuelas Deportivas, a year before being joined by Febas. The pair lived in the Camilo José Cela building in Madrid, a home for university students, and would travel together by bus to train at Valdebebas.
“I remember going to school wearing a suit and tie. We were young and it wasn't uncommon to see one of us dressed incorrectly because we didn't know how to tie a tie," recalls Sobrino. "I also recall us being told when it was time to collect our laundry, and us all rushing to see if we could pick up some of our colleagues' clothes that we liked."
"Aleix was always joking around when we were studying."
Even at that young age, Sobrino saw talent in Febas.
"You could see that Aleix could reach the elite," says Sobrino, who never coincided with his friend in a game due to the four-year gap in age between the two. They may do so this weekend in LaLiga, in an important Matchday 20 contest.
"Our objective is to win, but it will be a difficult game, because RCD Mallorca need to get out of the relegation zone. I'm sure that they will be even more motivated as they are facing Valencia CF."
