Diakhaby: "I feel like a footballer again. I can't wait to play at Mestalla with the fans"
The Valencia CF defender speaks to VCF Radio about his return to competition and the recovery process from his serious injury.
Growing away from home is one of the keys in the developing process in football both at home and away from home. Teo Pozo is an example of that. He joined the Academy from Roda de Bará four years ago and the player has recently extended his contract at the VCF Academy.
“When you arrive at the Academy is a bit complicated because you’re not use to it but you adapt pretty quickly and it becomes your second home.
The tutors help a set of values are instilled in you and at the end of the day, we all have the same objective which makes everything so much easier, we spend so many hours together that it has a family-feel to it.
I’m really happy and I hope to stay many more years here”. Teo is a winger who possesses plenty of pace and trickery going forward as his main attributes as a football player.
