The 'Fundación Aladina' brings magic to Mestalla
A 100-year-old Mestalla has been filled with magic with the visit of the Aladina Foundation. Specifically, there have been 50 people, including children with various pathologies, especially oncology, and their parents, who have enjoyed discovering the iconic stadium and being on the pitch.
Valencia CF has fulfilled the wishes of all of them, both the children and their families, in collaboration with the Aladina Foundation.
As highlighted by Eva Robles, responsible for the Valencian Community: "It is a very important day for us because in their life they endure many dificulties and being excited is super important because the warriors also need to enjoy and relax. The day to day for them is a struggle and these kind of actions fill them with happiness to continue. You are a team that looks after people".
Since 2005 and in Valencia for the last three years, the Aladina Foundation has been working so that no ill child or family ever loses their smile or their will to fight. They take care of them with all their affection from the moment they arrive at the hospital and accompany them every day so that they know they are not alone and feel their unconditional support.
Currently, the work of the Aladina Foundation benefits around 1,500 children from all over Spain every year in the 20 hospitals where it collaborates.
