The incorporation of VCF Femenino youth teams to the VCF Academy
It was announced this past Saturday that all VCF Femenino youth teams will be integrated into the VCF Academy structure, further unifying the holistic work across the club.
"This is something that makes us all proud, especially those of us who love women's sport," explains Sergio Fernández, coordinator of the VCF Femenino Academy.
“You can imagine how proud the players are. They want to be where the first team plays, here at the Antonio Puchades. They are very happy and excited to give everything.”

The integration of grassroots women's football into the VCF Academy structure is part of the continued aim to boost the game and take advantage of available resources.
"The management at the club have made this commitment to give visibility to women's football and integrate the teams. We have been working under the same banner for years, and now we are going to be part of the Valencia CF family in a more integrated way," added Fernández.

“We are very grateful for the collaboration from all the departments at the VCF Academy. Now we will be even closer and all the teams will be part of their daily work. We are going to take a leap up in quality with this assistance.
“Women's football is growing an unstoppable way. The club have made this commitment to grow together; all the teams in the VCF Academy have to work together and in synergy."
